Our latest campaign, NO ALCOHOL ADS TO KIDS. NO EXCEPTION. launched ahead of the 2019 Australian Open.
With your help, Australians can lift the exemption that exposes kids to alcohol advertising during sporting broadcasts.
The current exemption allows big alcohol brands to market their products throughout sport broadcasts during children’s viewing hours – which is otherwise illegal. This results in millions of children being targeted by alcohol advertising
And the exemption is heavily exploited by the alcohol industry, with 49.5 per cent of all alcohol advertising shown during the broadcast of live sporting events.
Campaign Champion, Federal member for Bennelong and tennis great John Alexander MP says children should be able to watch the Australian Open on the telly without being bombarded by alcohol ads.
We agree, but we need your help.
Share the campaign with your family and friends.
Together, you can help lift the exemption and protect Aussie kids.
Expose kids to tennis. Not tinnies.🎾
